CJ Carr is a bad QB. Here he is again being a single read QB. He appears to can’t read defenses. Notre Dame placed a player in motion an that should have tipped him off where to throw the ball. The outside receiver beats his man and has a step on him and their is no safety over the top because the safety was jumping the out. If he looks off and throws that seam ball he has it open.View attachment 371842

He had a fairly decent second half against us, but that was because (I think this is the General CIS Consensus) that Mario had Dawson sit on the lead. They tied the game. It should never have gotten to a field goal margin. Carr CAN be an effective passer.

I expect the Irish (like us) to iron out the kinks by November 7th, all kidding aside. I just don't think this secondary can cover our WR room.

I try to be unbiased as possible but all offseason I kept telling people the Carr hype was odd to me. He finished playing better but put him as a Heisman front runner and the elite talk threw me for a loop.

Feel like both Arch and Carr are starting on 2nd base.

The media will be looking to crown those two if they lead top teams and put up good stats even if there is more deserving candidates. Guys like Mensah will have to leave no doubt
