Weather in Charlotte next Sat

Charlotte makes sense geographically.

The attendance was fine when FSU played in the game. No one cared when BC, VT, Duke, WF, or GT played.

Miami’s decade of failure hurt the draw of the game. Fortunately Clemson added some star power the last few seasons. This week’s Clemson-Miami game would likely sell out in Tampa, Orlando, or Jacksonville. An FSU-Miami ACCCG was the conference’s wet dream.

The game should be in Orlando or Jacksonville. At worst it should rotate. Charlotte is stupid. Maybe I️ will change my mind after visiting this weekend.

It’s supposed to get down to 34 degrees in the evening. Why in the world would our conference championship game be played that far North and outdoors?

Because 4 of the ACC schools are from North Carolina. Because 8 of the ACC schools are within a couple of hours of Charlotte, and those 8 have all the power in the ACC.

ACC has zero teams in Louisiana so the Superdome isn't an option, it would however for the SEC if the ACC was able to take over Atlanta site for ACC game

ACC has zero teams on Ga also so MB would prefer SEC.

GEORGIA Tech? It's right there in their name....

AND they're in Atlanta.

And Clemson is only about 2 hours out of Atlanta.

This game should absolutely be played indoors or somewhere in Florida. You don't want weather to impact high stakes games

The ACC is the only conference playing its championship game in cold weather and in a ****** location. It is stupid. SEC is playing its championship game in a state of the art venue in Atlanta. Big Ten is playing at the Colts stadium in Indy. I don't need to know what real cold weather is because I live in Miami. No one gives a **** if you can tolerate the weather.

It's not great for us, but hopefully the Pitt game gave them a little taste of colder weather, so Saturday won't be such a shock.

I have to wonder if we actually were affected by the "cold" against Pitt. We did have a lot of hot-weather home games, and even the couple road games we had were early enough in the year, so the temps in Chapel Hill and Tallahassee weren't exactly frigid. I know that once you get below 50 degrees or so, things just feel different. Your hands feel different and the ball feels different - I'm definitely not trying to make excuses for Rosier here, but when was the last time he threw a football in 40 degree weather? Maybe it did throw him off a little bit.

certainly possible. same might be said for feagles, though im sure he grew up playing in colder weather

that said, i dont think the pitt weather was THAT bad to really have an affect on either's play.
