We wont beat top tier Teams

What happened to Demari Brown or is he out for the year? I unfortunately agree with the poster we are going anywhere in the playoffs with this secondary and LB group.

I don’t understand what happened in the offseason? Did Guidry tell Mario that this secondary was serviceable or did he lobby to get help and it never materialized?

This secondary might be the worst in CFB and I’m not embellishing here.

You seriously thought coming into the season this team would be good enough to beat those types of teams? Seriously.

Well the defense can’t be any worse. Should be better with the dbs we have committed. The offense may take a step back but that’s inevitable. Cam is setting records every week, kinda hard to top that. We can still be great next year

Why cry after a win... we are what we are. We won and were exciting. Celebrate.

Don't disagree. All depends on which qb we get in the portal.
 
I swear I don’t think 80% of this board watches games other than Miami. Y’all watched Ohio State not be able to cover Oregon for **** and think we would have no chance in a shootout? Talking about “We don’t look like a top tier team” as if that’s not something that changes year to year. The big boys finally pulled their heads out of their *** and started playing real offense, you can get the idea of holding top teams under 20 out of your head.

We have an offense that can keep up with anybody, stop doomsdaying.

Part of me agrees for the most part. Our Defense is just not good enough for us to be favored against elite teams.

However...


...We saw TCU beat a solid Michigan team a couple years ago and make it to the Championship.

We are a little like them winning a bunch of close games. Main difference though is that we have the best QB in the Nation and a bunch of highly recruited youngsters who are still learning how to play as a team.


Let's just see how things end. I am not going to give up on this team winning big games as long as Cam is our QB.
 
Been on here over 10 years through lots of bad times and this is easily the most pathetic thread and discussion I’ve seen and that’s saying something.

This team has holes but is absolutely a title contender with the best QB in CFB and a good supporting cast outside the secondary. Why are some of you even fans? Enjoy the win (which was also a COVER) on what was one of toughest games on schedule. Good grief.

It was all that’s left in the portal and bad evals and misses can hamper a whole unit bruh. I think popo is our sideline to sideline guy but he has two vets in front of him that were probably promised to play as they are going to the nfl. Benching them would look real bad for a players coach. Managing personalities is a ***** but that’s the way it goes and I understand it.
