We will never be back

I understand you look over the defense and make adjustments before the snap, and finally things may not be what was planned in the huddle. But this seems overdone... almost every **** play TVD is looking over to the sideline, looking uncomfortable, sometimes the clock gets under 5 and he even looks/acts panicked. Maybe this would work with Brady, but seems TVD is not up to it much of the time, and it puzzles me it continues when the offense sputters.

That’s a fair point.

The reality with Mario is that this is the type of O he signed off on and what he prefers. And the reality is, unless you have UGA level talent, you are never winning a NC with this style of O. Even Saban, who believed in ground and pound and controlling the clock, had to evolve and did when it came to his offenses and it all worked out for the better for BAMA. It doesn't appest Mario is willing to make that transition.

In that regard my question is more will Tyler get it together? I hope he does but Gattis average tonight but he was better than Tyler.

Say what you want about simple offense but that Redding miss was huge and the scheme had 0 to do with it.
We need a whole new WR core.. We missed in portal, talent was their to be had.. Our guys cant separate and when they barely do they cant catch..

If this is the type of offense Mario insists on running.

Yes, Gattis has been very disappointing. Yes, Van Dyke has regressed. Yes, the WR aren’t good. But the biggest issue is that Cristobal seems intent on employing a ball/clock control, "don't make a mistake", dink + dink, archaic offense.

Oregon fans tried to warn us in the off-season . They told us he wasted Justin Herbert. But we mostly ignored it. Now we've seen it play out before our very eyes.

Adapt or die, Mario. Your choice.
Its over shut the whole thing down.

you ain’t wrong there. I think there was enough there tonight to win if Tyler is a little more accurate but no doubt our guys weren’t difference makers.

I suppose if Mario sticks to his guns until the roster gets bigger, better, stronger, smarter (and he is recruiting pretty well) we may very well have to suffer thru some losses where we might have won if perfect (execution), or other team sh*t the fan. A&M may be overrated but they aint awful, and we were in it to win it... maybe patience is a realistic virtue. But not real sure, and i AM inpatient, lol.

Just growing pains. Last year we get blown out in this kinda game. I get why yall want everything now but you don't get the prize without going through the due process.

The offense was more than fine, until we got to the redzone. Not sure what in the world Gattis was thinking, it’s like his playbook caught fire any time we crossed their 30-yard line and he decided to just throw **** at the wall.

I mean, we outgained them by over 100 yards and 11 first downs. Some questionable redzone playcalling, special teams and really dumb mistakes lost us the game. (Also ****-poor clock management didn’t help at times)

I cant believe we have a guy sit the defensive back on his *** on 10 and instead of going around and scoring he tries to hurdle with no explosiveness.. lol.. I got to see replay to confirm if it was as bad as it was

There are Ws from this game to take into ACC play. We didnt play like Hos for the first time with a national audience to see like 2021 Bama, 2020 Clemson and 2018 LSU.

And that defense played amazing. Shoutout Ivey for ballin.
