I know its a tough time to be a cane fan, but you have to know that

1) our defense isn't a dumpster fire anymore

2) Part of the reason why we gave up so many points and yards is because our offense couldn't stay on the field

3) We have a ton of talent on offense, and once we find a solution at QB it will start to show.

4) Once our offense can stay on the field, our defense will become more effective.

I think if you look at this team in the abstract, all of the parts are better than they were last year. Feel free to disagree with me, but I only think one position group got worse, and thats the O-line.

I think it will click, and I think the our next two games will give us the opportunity to find an offensive rhythm as well as the chance to get our freshman QB settled in.

If our OC continues as he did last night we will win 4 games max. That was a complete embarrassment; **** show.

Pretty sure we said the same thing last year. Defense is slightly better. That wasn't a very good UL offense we faced. **** that wasn't a very good UL defense we faced. We won't get better cause the players are tuning golden out. You can't lose like this and not lose the lockerroom.

#3 With Williams in there, we might have connected on a few more errand passes. But don't get too carried away, cause the play calls would have been identical. Like another poster said, it's like he's playing Madden with his playbook. Just random **** at bad times. Way too much talent on our roster (minus Right guard/tackle) for this nonsense.

seriously, there is denial, and then there is DENIAL.

coaching staff gives me no faith in that other than experience the freshman get

Yeah, we'll be at least 1-1 after Saturday, what's the problem?

LOL at all the mouth breathers on here talking about how improved our defense is after last night. You trogs will never learn.

While we will get slightly better through the course of the season due Kaaya getting more comfortable and the playbook opening on O. You can't win big with the schemes & gameplans we are throwing out there. James Coley is a recruiter and nothing more he should be wr coach or te coach. We are at a schematic disadvantage with him at the helm our or offense. We are ridiculously predictable at times and seem to be calling plays by trial and error with no real purpose. Him and Coach Dnofrio form a formidable duo. We used to have Fisch of offset Dnofrio's incompetence but now Coach D has met his match.

How many teams out there breaking in a true freshman at qb? Were in a pretty unique situation.

Other thing is that we were playing against a completely new coaching staff. They have a full season worth of tape on us and we can only guess as to what they were gonna do.

We are a really talented team. All of the pieces are there, we just can't put it together. Two pancake games might give us that chance

Last night's performance was a real eye opener. There is absolutely no reason for optimism. This staff is timid, predictable and when they stumble on something that works, they abandon it. Oh, and their halftime adjustments are nonexistent. You almost get the sense that they're trying to lose.

You're right, the parts are better than they were last year, and the year before for that matter, but the results are the same. Other ACC coaches will outcoach this group over and over again and it will never get better. I've seen enough and, while the frequent staff changes have certainly contributed to the drought throughout the past decade, a change now can only improve the situation.

The d is not better give it three weeks when we play nebraska it will be the same song and dance

Not one unit under AG had a complete game in any game. AG does not seem to have a direct concentration in terms of a unit. Offense, defense, and special teams have been pretty putrid over 4 years.

Losing to UL pretty much sealed our fate in the Coastal race. FSU, VT are automatic loses. The others will be tough challenges. Vegas is on the money with 7-5.
