We will be disappointed

There was another article out today where bot was crying broke.. said there isno money.. These guys dont know how to invest in program to get a return.. they just sit on there hands and hope for miracle.. We have been doing same thing for yearssssssss

The pressure will be on the admin to hire an experienced coach because all involved(the fans, the press) will be focused on the hire and the candidates experience. A bad hire will be rejected out of hand. No one will say lets wait and see anymore. He will be booed from the first press conference all the way out the door. The banners will come out and the president of the U will have to deal with that the whole time.

It will be worse than ever because no one has patience anymore.
People thought the same before they fed us golden and manny, and 3/4 of the fan base still slurped away. Those that want to hope will still find it, no matter who is hired

We’ve all been taken advantage of. Our loyalty and fanaticism have been toyed with for too many years for me to expect anything else.

A lot of factors came into play for us to win 5 national titles. But looking back at it the only thing that was never on board 100 percent was the school itself. Even after winning they never took advantage of the huge financial benefit that comes with winning multiple championships. They don’t even honor the past as much as other schools that haven’t even won 1.

This university has only one child and it’s the school of medicine and all the accolades and research money that comes with it. And do you want to know what hospitals care more about than anything else? Image and reputation. I’ve had entire department chairs request equipment and man power that no one in administration cares about. But if one patient writes a bad google review within 15 minutes I’m getting a call to explain myself. And I’ve used that to my advantage. Whenever a patient complains about something I literally tell them to write a google review. Holy sht does that work like a charm. So that culture permeates the entire university. It’s the reason they didn’t hire the pirate or Mullen. It’s the reason they never went after Mario. It’s the reason that Lane train is at ole miss despite him coaching in south Florida. All of those coaches were apparently good enough for other schools including 2 sec schools but not us. Including one that came within a missed extra point from going to overtime with Bama.

Even if Nick Saban himself calls and said hey “I’ll take a pay cut” they wouldn’t hire him cause he spits vinegar in his press conferences and acts like a madman on the sidelines.

They hired a dude with a tie. Then a grandpa that never got mad. Then manny that talks like a sports cliche dictionary.

The school is going to do what it has done. Lie to us about to wanting a championship squad while not even coming close to following any of the steps that the schools that are actually trying to win have done and are doing.

Any school that really really really wanted to win would’ve put an end to this BS at the latest Sunday night. Why so early you ask? Because they would’ve likely have seen the writing on the wall and had a round in the chamber and an attack plan in place. But James has proven he isn’t that smart to have done that and also to lazy to put in the leg work to do so.

All this talk about Mario and all the other top candidates is all just wishful thinking by us. Those dudes will never coach here. They will hire an up and comer from somewhere that has never even stepped foot in sofla.

I hope I’m wrong but past performance is the best indicator……

Good chit, my guy. I used to tell ppl on here USC & Miami have some similarities, but there’s some stark differences. USC gives a flying fck about their academic reputation, & even when they have incompetent ppl overseeing sports, they get whipped right back into shape in a couple of yrs b/c they for sure give a Fck about sports. They realize sports means a whole lot to the student body, and famous fans who want to contribute.

They take full advantage of their rep in a lot of things, and they are forward thinkers. That’s why they have a gang of money. I promise u, if SC was faced w/ the OB situation, they would’ve not only made it work, they would’ve made $$ from it. They already faced that w/ The Coliseum.

This school has some of the most short sighted individuals behind the scenes. U think like mom & pops, u get mom & pops results. U think like Amazon, u become the most dominant chain in the world. We ab-so-fcking-lutely tricked off the most golden opportunity w/ the exposure this school gained. Miami could be a top 30 academic institution while being a top 10 athletic institution, FOR SURE, in football, baseball, golf, tennis, & T&F b/c of the got **** natural resources it sits in. The combined natural resources (financial, destination, research, and breed of athletes) is better than most, if not all schools in FBS.

For the life of me, I don’t get it. Why is E before W? What the Fck does that even mean?! E + W = $$$!

Playing a bit of devil’s advocate here, but only slightly:

WTH do you expect when we’ve never been able to consistently fill a stadium and, in reality, have a lot of bandwagon fans who don’t donate to the university or the athletic dept, and who have a hard enough time scraping together a couple grand to fly a banner every few years?

Even in our best years, games against lesser opponents (like say Rutgers or Temple or BC in the old Big East days) would get maybe 30-35k in the stands.

We’ve trained the admin that we won’t show up consistently even when we’re in contention for national titles. Sure, we’ll sell out games against big names…but there’ll be a lot of opponents fans in the stands too, it won’t be a sea of Orange and green.

So why would they go out and spend top-dollar for a coaching search and a big-splash hire? I’m sure they’re capable of running cost/benefit analyses, and maybe, just maybe, we fans are getting the program we deserve.
Because selling out stadiums isn't the only metric for ROI... if any, it meas nothing in this rented arena. Winning means recognition and brand contracts including merchandise.

E and W are for beta retards who pick up one liners from some PowerPoint presentation at some meeting somewhere... and then blab it around like some original revelation to impress others....

Management seminars reek with these garbage one liners
