No doubt a national championship is the greatest measuring stick for whether or not the program is back. Something Ed Reed said in Miami's 30 for 30 always sticks with me. Players ran practice and players policed themselves. Internal issues were handled by leaders on the team. With the recent talk about Jeff Thomas only highlights the fact that the culture and identity of the team is no where near it needs to be. How does this happen? Where were the leaders? Arguably the best player on the team is supposedly arguing with coaches and had allegedly left the team. Never be back no matter how talented until the culture and mentality on this team is addressed.

It all starts with the coaches. The players don't trust MR offense. All the Dawgs are on defense bc the scheme works Diaz is letting them eat but when you have an offense that when the QB hikes the ball and the first read isn't towards the best player on the field then you have a problem. Idc what anyone says about WR being Divas. JT has a chance to go to the league and make millions and this offense is rendering his chances to make that.
 
It all starts with the BOT and Admin...They want a clean program and a program they don't have to worry about. Richt gives them that and they are fine with it. Bowl games= money, ACC TV contract = money, and that is all they care about. The BOT and Admin don't care about anything with the football team except money and not having to deal with it. They are more worried about U health, the med school, painting boats for the marine biology team than anything having to do with sports. Until Miami get's a BOT and Admin who actually care, what you have seen the last decade plus will continue to be the standard they will put on the field.
 
We will be back when at a minimum Richt leaves or gets fired. I am so done with him. A complete fraud!!!! We will be worse than we were at the end of the Golden era by the time he's done with us. Don't think for a second that this thing has bottomed out. It is going to get worse under this clown!! We are only in year 3 with him. Worse is yet to come. #AnyoneButRicht
 
When the entire administration and coaching staff is purged and if the new regime makes football the number one priority. So yea probably never.
 
To me it speaks volumes that the best player on the team doesn't trust the coaches. How are you going to expect to have leadership when the trust isn't there. The kids see that the coaches are not putting them in the best situations to succeed. Putting Rosier in over N'kosi was an example. Running an offense that isn't suited to the personnel you have. These are things Richt needs to fix. An I'm not sure if he can.
 
**** rolls down hill. Coaching staff has to allow that atmosphere to flourish, and has to bring in the players to flourish in it.

No doubt the mismanagement by the coaching staff has opened the door for this mess.

Betas only hire betas. We've been subjected to these Mr. Rogers type personalities at HC for almost 20 years now.

When is the last time we had a real ******* at HC? (You already know the answer to that.) Name the last "nice guy" HC that won a NC?

I'll be waiting a LONG time for that answer.
 
This program is dead. We won't ever pay the caliber of coach it will take to revive us, and we will never have the alumni network to buy the best local players.

Nice guy was Coker but we know that it wasn't Coker that ran schit.
 
Board sounds like ND fans after we routed them last year and guess where they are now? Kelly made a bunch of changes to his staff and got a QB who can actually complete passes. STFU and wait and see what Richt does. I think Richt can win a ship if he is willing to adjust and bring in a guy to run the O. We will see what he decides.
 
It's a broken, me-first culture down here. Since about 2005, kids have decided to play at Miami not to win championships, but because they felt it was their easiest path to the NFL.
