Cops don’t realize there’s potential to get shot or death when signing up?

Weird.....we knew there was “potential” for that in the military. Not everyone has combat roles. Even if deployed to Afghanistan. But we realized that when we signed up, that we could potentially die even in non combat roles.

My LE friends know theirs potential for them to step out the crib and that’s their last day. Depending on districts you are policing I wouldn’t say that cops don’t realize potential for shootouts and death when they take the job.

80th is not good buddy.

The poster simply stated that other countries cops don't even carry guns. You then said "that country has more stabbings" clearly referring to England. I just wanted to point out that country has a lot less murders than us. We have about 5x the amount of murders per capita. So what are they doing that allows them to have much less crime than us while also not having all of their officers carry guns?

Also, not sure why you are bringing politics into this. The only reason I can think of is because you actually have no logical point to stand on so you just used the classic "I have no idea wtf I am talking about" approach and resorted to "**** *insert opposing party* are ruining this country"

Maybe read the entire thread first.


Maybe England has less murders because they dont allow their cities to look like Chicago, Memphis, Baltimore, Atlanta, Houston, detroit and so on. Notice a theme with those cities?......



And lol at 80th not being good considering we have 390 million guns in our country. So if England is so great they should have way less than 5× fewer murders seeing as they have no guns.

LMFAO are you really trying to say the reason we have so many murders is because we have so many guns? So the solution to stopping murders is to just ban all guns?
