We really need to find out what’s up with Jarren Williams

I know Enos bears a lot of the blame, but all 3 INTs were on RPOs. Just a reminder that means Run Pass Option. Enos did not tell JW to make those throws, JW chose the pass option each time. I'm not sure what key he was reading, but he was way off.

You expect that boy to read off a key when he can't see Harley standing 12 feet away uncovered? C'mon man. But is Enos is still more wrong for even having that boy in there.

By the way, there's a reason that boy picks pass over run every time. He doesn't have the stomach to carry the ball straight up. Unless he sees the back of everybody's jersey and has no choice he ain't running. Not because he slow, but because he's a cur.

For you happy city living mother****ers, a cur is a dog that won't fight. That's your boy JW.

And what’s funny is that just last week the word around here was, “We got ourselves a QB, boys!!!”

Honestly, he's a talented QB but he is mentally weak. I don't mean immature (like Perry), but straight up does not handle adversity well and isn't cutthroat about winning. I am doubtful experience will make up a lack of desire.

How tf do you lose to FIU with the most pathetic QB performance in UM history?? His performance against Central Michigan might be the 2nd worse performance in UM history.

I do not want to see him on this team after this season let along starting. There is no excuses... ENos didn’t tell this clown to throw in triple coverage??

Everyone knows our plays out of the rpo. That’s why they sit there in the zones waiting for the passes. Should not have made some of those throws but they knew they were coming. Enos is a horrible play caller.

He needs to be investigated seriously because unless he is drug addicted or mentally ill... he is throwing games. There is no other reasonable explanation for that bs we saw last Saturday.

JW has talent but seems to a be a soft crybaby with ZERO leadership skills. When he's on (UL) sure he's great but when he gets a bit rattled, he's ******* awful. Don't be surprised when he tries to transfer or go AWOL for what the 4th time?

Dr Jekyl and Mr Jarren. Not the guy.

That kind of decision would come from a competent coach. We don’t have that

The same guy on his second leave for personal reasons? Yea, that’ll change the culture. That kid should have got his walking papers the day he found out he didn’t win the competition and had to have a “personal day”
Manny trying to win brownie points instead of setting the tone is why this team shows up when they want.

a lot of y’all wishy washy. Was just praising him the previous 3 games but now he’s back to being the worst ever lol

I think its interesting that he's either really good (multiple TDs, high completion %, 0 INTs) or horrible (0 TDs, multiple INTs). The FIU game was literally the only game this season where he had both TDs and INTs in the same game (2 TDs 3 INTs). Every other game this season he either had zero INTs or zero TDs. It's odd. It either means he is incredibly streaky (in which case Enos has to get him in shotgun and give him easy throws to get in rhythm) or he folds when facing adversity (short memory is important for qbs). I'm starting to lean towards the latter.

What's the deal on the commit from Connecticut? Is he a viable starter, if not as a frosh, then in his second year?

Looks like Jarren struggles handling success and he’s still kind of a dope but I still think there’s a good QB in there, he’s only a rs frosh so there’s plenty of time for him to improve and mature..

Off season will be key for him as he’s goes into next season as our number 1. Hopefully he can mature and figure it out by the time next season rolls around..

No offense but hasn’t Jarren done the same thing twice? Skipped practice last year and looked to transfer. Skipped practice this year after being benched. Not to mention other reference on here about his immaturity and lack of game prep.

You can’t set a tone with one guy while letting the other skid by. Manny just doesn’t know how to hold a team accountable in general and set an expectation others will follow. It’s obvious this team lack leaders.

Sad to say but it's hard not for OPs subject to cross your mind. He's been that horrific in a few specific games.

2019 and people still don't understand RPO after the million threads on it here.

We don’t know that without him playing in a single practice at Miami come on now. Don’t put unrealistic expectations on a kid so when he doesn’t meets or exceeds them people will readily bash them
Lol, where have you been? This is a CIS signature move...talk up the guy who’s got zero college film, then trash him when he’s just ok as a FR.
