We played small slot WRs all game long

Playing the slots all night was one of the more Head scratching decisions of the night. I don’t understand those WR lineups by Stubblefield. We had big bodied WRs like Hightower and Wiggins to cause matchup problems on slants or fades, but we didn’t use them.

But what bothers me most is the end of the game. You’d think at the end of the game we’d go 4 wide and put Hightower, Wiggins even Njoku in the game on the play the went to Jordan (where the PI flag was picked up). Instead we had all small guys on the field, even in that scenario.

Hoping Stubblefield is not out of his depth coaching at Miami

What have you seen this year that says hightower and Wiggins should be on the field

On the last pass play to win it when Jordan was sandwiched, you better believe Wiggins and Hightower should’ve been in the game on that play. We needed guys that could body someone and go up and get the ball. And I **** you not, Tate was the in the game on that play!!! He was in the game at WR on a “must have, fo or die, we need to score a TD to win it right now”, play

Darrell Langham won a game for us like that, if you recall.

In fact you spread 4-5 wide so they can’t blitz on that play and allow our big WRs to make a play. I would’ve put Njoku on the field too. UF had a bunch of freshman in their 2 deep in their secondary and they would’ve been forced to be on the field on that play (we had 2 shots at it)

Wiggins isn’t good

Not saying I disagree with you but Tate was wide open that play.

This is correct. If Jarren had thrown it to Tate, he would have scored the game winning touchdown.

Yes, he was wide open for sure, and i wish like **** he would’ve seen him, but here is why having Tate in the field was an issue. Jarren has no chemistry with him so that auto-pilot in his brain didn’t even think to go there. His fault for not scanning the field, but he was going to the guy he trusted instead. Jordan was the big bodied WR he was comfortable with so he gave him a chance to make the play; he knew we needed 6.

Put Hightower, Wiggins and Njoku our there and now you have 4 big targets to choose from. And they are guys he’s been throwing to consistently for a year and a half and so their is chemistry between those guys

Ya I understand Mallory is a FLEX that can be moved outside, but every play?

One of the 3 bigs or the slightly smaller Payton can't get on the field? Maybe they shield Henderson off better in the 4q end zone that JT couldn't hold.

Definitely some interesting decisions from Enos and Stubblefield, will be interesting how this progresses.

Im going 4-5 wide on the final two plays with:

Hightower
Jordan
Wiggins
Njoku
Thomas

They probably don’t blitz in that scenario, because we would had them spread out, and you force them to put 2 freshman corners on the field in the clutch on those two plays. Send Thomas underneath on a cross if they do blitz, and got 4 of our guys that can go up and get the ball in the end zone if we go up top

Uh Hightower was in on that play. Tate wasn't in on that play. He was in on the play where JT dropped the pass in the endzone and he was wide open.
