stats are cool, but believe your eyes ... playing soft on third and short is egregious ... not shading inside leverage and forcing difficult throws off timing is criminal based on the athletes we have

That's what we (Miami) want at Linebacker ultimately...we just don't have those guys yet. (or they're young)

I'm of the opinion that big Safeties make the best Linebackers, particularly in today's game.

We play 'tough and physical' only on offense apparently. Defensively we give luxurious cushions for Brohm, Lashlee, etc to have career days with mediocre talent. Kinda ironic how we don't have many sacks and we never play press coverage. Just ignorant. Taking the +30 points on Syracuse. IYKYK

We pressed against Notre Dame week one and it worked, that’s how Reuben Bain got that interception!

that's why I can't understand why Pruitt isn't in the scheme of things right now. Some say are ing he is now a safety, but others have said that was a brief experiment maybe @DMoney can confirm

We invested millions into that secondary and this is the best we can do? They don’t trust their guys with this soft coverage and they still can’t play zone. ***** ridiculous.

I think it probably has to do with Mario's soft/conservative gameday mindset as well. "Don't give to the big play"
 
Our offense is **** and cost us a playoff spot. Hetherman has transformed that unit and good enough to win. He needs to punch Mario on the mouth for being a *****.
 
It’s very weird that almost every DC that comes here falls in love with off coverage and free release at points in the season. On top of the 15 yard delayed blitz

What happened to the pass rush? Yes I understand the off coverage doesn’t help but even on long developing passes we aren’t getting home.

Are we not instructed to get our handles up on passes?
