We only have 3 recruits from Dade County......Yet, 2 from NJ

Name a better SAM linebacker than Gordinier or a better TE than Washington in Dade this year? Clarington? Good luck with getting him through admissions.

Maybe if we were recruiting CBs or athletes from NJ over our Dade guys, but LBs and TEs, in a weaker year for south Florida, not gonna hate.

I think you're missing the point. NJ kids didn't win us 5 national titles.

You have fallen and bumped your dayum head. Gordinier is Ordinary and Slow as *****.

We are not gonna win Schit with Gordiniers of the world......

When Walton and Scarlett stomp on U hats on Tuesday, that is one less Dade and Broward commit

Reggie Wayne, Jeremy shockey, ken Dorsey, dj williams, Ed reed, Kelley Winslow and many of our other great players werent all from Florida. Yeah 80% of the team should be from Florida but it doesn't hurt to have kids from Georgia, California and New Jersey. There is good football played outside south Florida, especially Georgia....

No one is saying only get Jersey kids (though any team that got them all would be pretty **** good), sprinkle in some Jersey kids with that Dade skill and you have an easy title mixture. We've certainly had a few that have helped us get some of those ships.

Maybe, but I watched him play twice this year. He was playing some good football on one of the best teams in NJ. There is a lot of bias with Golden bec. he went to RBC, but that RBC team was a **** good team this year (won state) that can rival the best of South Florida, which I am very familiar with. I don't care about slow as much as I care about getting instinctual linebackers that are football junkies.

I would not be hating on the NJ pull as much as not grabbing the best of Dade year in and out regardless of position. I agree with the premiss of this thread and feel that Dade should be represented with at least a handful of the best each year. Not doing that is a fail. Dade is our home and we need to be represented with its best.

A team full of diverse players playing as 1, won us those titles.

For every Highsmith there has been an Ed Reed. The U football team, just like the U University, just like Miami the city, is a collection of diverse talent.

What a stupid statement. Tell us what else you don´t know about Canes history.

Our last MNC team had 3 starters from NJ.

That's the point. At our best we had mostly Florida kids with the a few cali kids and others mixed in. Now we r the opposite. If we r going to be full of 3 star guys at least have them be from Florida.
