We need the defense to step up in a massive way on the 24th

So you’re saying you aren’t buying Manny being coy about how dominate our O is even though we have 3 QBs that haven’t been good enough to be named a starter and a green Oline?

And they did not, at least not consistently. Everyone's been ****ting on the O and specials, which is deserved, but I'm honestly most disappointed about the D despite a couple timely turnovers.

A single sack all game? Really?

Franks had straight days to throw from the pocket, the much vaunted front 7 didn't do jack for us. I lost count of the number of missed tackles that led to gifted yards on yards and first downs. And 4/4 4th down conversions. Yikes.

I didn't expect the offense to be very good in a first game like this, and neither did anyone else not drunk off spiked kool aid. The best we could hope for was no game breaking mistakes and we pretty much got it. The missed FG was the exception. But Jarren threw no picks, and was remarkly poised with a sieve of an O line.

The D was supposed to be the strength of this team and overall played pathetically up front against what was supposed to be a pretty green OL. The O played just about how you should think a new QB, 2 freshman tackles, and new system and staff would play in game 1 against a top 10 opponent. So why is it getting so much chit compared to what should have actually had high expectations?
