We need JG to be selfish and self-seeking, but NOT stupid.

He has an opportunity to significantly increase his NIL earnings and eventually, NFL earnings. He needs to keep his nose clean off the field with the idea that his suspended days are a permanent thing of the past. He literally has everything in front of him if he makes decisions, moving forward, that will mean more earnings and a better life.

Selfish in the sense that he will make choices which personally benefit him, but are not selfish in the self-destructive way, like not being a team player. He needs to realize that the life he would like is right in front of him, but he has to make the overall choices that will benefit him, which means doing whatever he can do to make the team succeed.

Achane's speed was noticeable. I thought the D did a great job containing him. I remember Williams in particular making a tough open field tackle on him. He used the sideline and his length perfectly.

Selfish, but stupid. If he were really seeking to put cash in his pocket, he'd figure out that Mario will only play him if he's following the straight and narrow. He needs to get his head straight and think about his future. If he does that, and Gattis features him, everyone wins - selfish, but smart.
