We need a real Rival on Rivalry weekend.

Pitt and WVU are also old rivals, but they no longer play since WVU bolted to the Big-12. (still a head scratcher to me)

I know they used to play every year and have played each of the last two, but wasn't sure if it had been continous. Being from PA I know Pitt has a bad case of little brother syndrome in relation to PSU. Still not sure who we could nab though if we could get out of the Pitt game each year.

Blame the ACC for not pushing for 16 schools. The ACC should be this

North
BC, Cuse, Pitt, WVU, Louisville, ND, VT, UVA

South
UNC, NC State, Duke, Wake, Clemson, GT, FSU, Miami
 
It was a shame that conference re-alignment eliminated several traditional games. Pitt/PSU was always a good watch.

Neb/Oklahoma was another.
 
Everyone’s *****ing is understandable but I’ll wait for your solution.

It can’t be FSU cause of florida
It can’t be ND cause not on our schedule every year and cause USC (though that game isn’t always this weekend so maybe forget that) and ND has shown no interest in yearly
Can’t be va tech cause of uva
Lol at fiu or fau


So who is realistic that isn’t already tied to another long standings option.
 
I’d like to thump UCF every year to remind them who runs this state
 
Why not just have our offense square off against our defense. They seem to be pretty big rivals according to social media lately. Game would be interesting.

Speaking of rivalry games. Wonder why Oklahoma and Oklahoma State didn’t play each other on this weekend?

They could even have Navy in the north division and WVU out if that would help scheduling for ND. ND wouldn’t have to use an out of conference game to play Navy. It would be a conference game for them. Not that I want to do everything to help ND but that would be an easy way to help try and get ND. The ACC would benefit with ND as a football member.

You know I didn't think of Navy as an football only option but the thing this WVU would bring all sports not just football
