We need a head coach that gives us a schematic advantage on game day. The days of locking up south florida are over and have been over for a long time. We have to stop chasing that idea and think more like a small school that doesn't have as many resources as the big schools do. What do most of the small schools have in common? They hire Head Coaches that provide them with an offensive schematic advantage.

Thats what this hire should be. We've been gifted an opportunity to correct the last four mistakes.

Time to hire a coach that will bring an exciting brand of football with him that gives us a game day advantage. Winning and excitement will trickle down to recruiting.

The Mario Cristobals, Butch Davis's of the world are not the answer.

I will take assistants and support staff that gives Miami a schematic advantage.

I will take a CEO that is able to understand the Miami culture, lure assistants and provide a recruiting advantage.

MARIO CRISTOBAL

What we have that small schools don't is we are located smack dab in the middle of one of the richest goldmines of talent in this sport, if you don't think you can tap into that then drop the program because that is idiotic to think that you can't get a bunch of this talent to stay home. South Flofida kids litter rosters all over the country and they tend to be playmakers on all the teams they go to. You can have a scheme but you also need athletes and we can actually get them here more than any other small school. Why the **** are coaches dying to coach in the state of Florida? For easier access to this talent!

No, we need a coach who can do both, don’t hit me with that locking up SFL days are long gone. If Saban, Meyer & Swinney can manage both, than our next hire needs to be able to do both, and do both at an elite level.

U my friend are a smart man.
Todd Herman is an example he turned U of Houston into a winner and the Texas Snatched him up. He has them on the right path in year 2. Beating top rank teams

Clemson's DC was making over half of what our Head Coach was making and you think we can compete with them in regard to resources.

Mario is about 20 games under .500 in his coaching career yet people think he's the answer.

Agreed.

There's so many young innovative coaches out there right now coming up through the ranks.

With all the technology and tools at their disposal, we are in a great spot to really make a great choice.

We will see though.
