That's doubling down on stupid that comment is but, after watching the post game press conference, you know he is at the end of his rope.

Golden is saying that likely because he knows that if he wins the Coastal that he will buy him and his staff another year. Scary part is how bad the Coastal is this year and regardless of how bad we are still remains a feasible task.

Not a snowball's chance in **** that Fraulden is capable of winning any championship, at any level. He's never done it.
 
What else is he supposed to say? Just tell his guys that yeah, we're ****ed, so go ahead and quit? He's over his head and needs to be fired ASAP, but on the list of stupid things he's done/said over the years, this is about item #176 .

He is such a loser. He is beat down trying so hard to keep this team from imploding on him. Its going to be a long rest of Oct for him and this team. Feel bad for the players because he is sinking the ship and forcing the players to remain call and don't rise up for the occasion to get of his sinking boat.

Duke and Pitt are good. Depending on what miami team shows up against them I don't know that Miami beats them
 
Well, he showed up to face the softballs from Rose. And honestly, at this point, what's he going to say, we haven't been mathematically eliminated yet?

The reality is that we do have a small chance at winning the coastal. It would take a miracle effort by these kids though. We could probably lose one more. (against Clemson) and thats it. We would have to win the rest.

Agree with the poster that said, "What do you expect him to say"..he cant lose these kids 5 games into the season. Or he will definitely be fired midseason. (which I still think will happen anyway) **** he has to find a way to get them up for Vtech. We are ripe for the taking right about now..I expect a loss on Sat.

Right.

2012, he started 4-1 and finished 3-4.
2013, he started 7-0 and finished 2-5.
2014, he started 6-3 and finished 0-4.

He doesn't have to say a word.
 
Canes used to hate losing. used to drive them crazy. Now we're experts at losing with class and dignity and posting inspirational quotes to social media. Don't know whether to laugh or cry

everyone seems to forget that this staff routinely loses to really bad teams down the stretch: see UVA and Pitt last year as recent examples

there is no way he wins the coastal. only question is WHEN will Miami finally pull the ***cing trigger and fire his fat ***

And we also don't rise to the occasion, instead we play pitty pat while enjoying some soft serve sherbert.
 
We will lose to Clemson and at Pitt which should be a cold game. All the other games are 50/50. If the team at Cincy shows up we could lose out.
 
Again, it's as if these people don't realize that its TOTAL ACC WINS that decides the division winner, not just divisional opponents. Duke plays Wake and BC cross-divisionally. UM plays FSU and Clemson. UM can beat Duke and still not win the division unless Duke chokes against more than one of the divisional cupcakes (like Pitt, UVA or Miami)
