We finally have a real qb

I know many on here are lamenting the fact the Williams hung onto the ball too long, but to my eye, it seems as if he was coached to not do anything to jeopardize the game. But what he showed me, under that amount of pressure, is that when it slows down a little bit more for him and the OL grows more, he is going to a great qb here.

Man we have our QB now we need him to continue to grow under Enos and clean up some things. Tbh at many times he was the best player with the highest nfl ceiling. Just need our OL to continue to grow and respond to Barry and Enos.

You can't teach accuracy. He just needs to work on his mental clock, timing, and throwing the ball away. Things that will come with time.

I agree! He took care of the ball as best as he can! He never started. 1st start was against Florida and he managed it very well. I'm impressed.

Very impressed with Jarren. We definately have a QB. We need to clean up our Oline and give him some time to throw. Jarren also needs to throw the ball away sometimes as well. Defense needs to clean up a few issues as well.

Do we really have a first-class QB in JW? Hard to say since he didn't get to actually read a defense and go downfield. It's very possible nobody currently on the roster is the long-term answer.

My question is why so many Mountain West QBs (the Hawaii guys, Josh Allen, etc.), and even the lower Division QBs at places like North Dakota State look so much better than what we recruit.

I liked him. I was scared he was going to take a big shot (from holding on to the ball).

And UF’s secondary was outstanding in coverage too.

But he never really care close to turning it over.

Since 2017 really, all we’ve been saying is we need a QB to not lose us the game. That’s what Jarren gave us in his first start.

In fact, he would have won us the game if one of 2 difficult but catchable balls were hauled in.
