Thanks for the info!
Frierson is a natural born FS ballhawk... He plays CB too, but he'll be an absolute beast at FS.I know this question was posed in the Amari Carter thread. Could any of these 2018 guys be a true center fielder? Ball-hawking, lay the wood, Sean Taylor types. Any insight would be much appreciated!
He's a naturally gifted athletic freak, with the perfect body type for the position with long arms & great range...
Same with Gurvan Hall, an Elite prospect with tremendous future All-American upside.
Liberty,
What is your opinion of Ronald Hardge, III from Cardinal Gibbons? He did a pretty nice job against Jerry Jeudy the other night.
As of right now, I don't believe we have any chance with Pat Surtain, Jr.

Great find man! That kid gave Jeudy fits.
For anyone interested in watching, look up Ron Hardge III.
2018 is a goldmine for DBs down here. Don't see how we could ***** it up at all.
Like Geo said, great find...Liberty,

I had seen some of him after watching more on Randall Haynie when he came to Paradise.
He's got some great film, and he's done the best I've seen of any DB covering Jeudy.
And I agree with you on Pat Jr... I don't think we have much of chance with him, because Pat Sr is really big on SEC programs, Pat Jr just visited LSU for the Bama game & I know Corey Raymond pretty much has Pat Sr in his back pocket.
To be quite frank though, I think he's one of two most overrated players in South Florida & him not considering Miami doesn't factor in to my opinion on that. I wrote that same opinion a few months back on this same thread (page 2) and have seen him play more & still feel the same.
I'm more than aware of all of that, and can tell you with high amount of certainty that he ain't coming...Like Geo said, great find...Liberty,

Surtain has interest in Miami, he has a real good relationship with rumph and visited 2 games already this season here. Lsu just has the lead and it's been that way for awhile. Some of surtains family if I'm not mistaken is from Louisiana as well or live there
Coco Creek has one of the deepest Secondaries, even though Garner just transferred, they still have a lot of depth.Marquis Williams is one of the smaller corners in the group but one of the fastest. Has run an official 100m at the state regional level of 10.72. He can also flip his hips as well as any corner, has a great break on the ball, likes press coverage, is physical, and will only get more so. Like a faster Bandy. Saw him play earlier in the year and once last year and he impressed me. Clemson has made an offer.
is physical

Blades, Frierson, DJ Ivey, Hall & one of the two between Samuel Jr or Tyson Campbell... Don't think we'll keep Jobe.Who do you think we land Liberty? I know it's early
We're also in a real good spot with Cameron Jonas & Nadab Joseph... I also think we'll eventually offer Tre Jackson at Southridge.
We need to offer Randy Russell, Stanley Garner, Miguel Edwards & Trenell Troutman (even though he's committed to Louisville), and it's probably a long shot, but I'd like to see us go after Tyreke Johnson more.
There will be a ton of 2018 DB's in Florida alone to field a class of 6, plus there's out of state kids from Georgia & Louisiana we could end up with too.

Gurvan Hall has plenty of time to mull things over, collect offers and even commit a handful of times if he so chooses. He’s not in much of a rush, though. The class-of-2018 defensive back would rather soak things in and allow his recruitment to develop slowly.
A commitment? The star defensive back save that for down the road. Hall will, however, name an early favorite.
“It’s Miami,” Hall said. “… I love the coaching staff there. They’re great dudes. Mark Richt is a great dude and they’re really working hard to try to keep me home. Everyone is telling me to go there.”
And so the hometown team clings to an early advantage in the race to land the Palm Beach Lakes High School standout. His recruitment will likely shift, sure, but Miami has to enjoy its current position. The biggest threat to its standing, however, resides on the West Coast.
“My first visit for sure is going to be Stanford,” Hall said. “I know that one for sure. I talk to them once in awhile, but it’s a process. That’s an offer I really want.”
Hall says a Stanford offer would heavily impact his recruitment but doesn’t come right out and say the Cardinal would become of favorite. Instead, he speaks with caution. In fact, other than a trip to Stanford he’s uncertain which other programs may get visits this offseason.
“Right now, I really don’t know,” Hall said. “I’m going to set them up. Right now, I’m just worried about going to back to work on football.”
IN HIS WORDS: “Alabama, Miami, Pitt and a couple more are the ones talking to me the most,” Hall said. “I’m liking all of them.”
RIVALS REACTION: Hall says he has the grades necessary to give him a shot of getting in to Stanford, but wondering about that is an exercise in futility until an offer arrives. Projecting his landing spot is nearly impossible at this juncture, other than to say Miami has a solid early lead to his commitment.
