Al Golden is a proven recruiter who led us through a difficult NCAA investigation. some may say the sanctions were not severe; however, they do not realize the ambiguity of the NCAA investigation made any negative recruiting possible.
and YET, he recruited really well.
He is a proven talent developer and produced the leading rusher, receiver, and best TE in school history. AT MIAMI.
let that sink in.
meanwhile, our dumb, short-sighted fans are saying how terrible he is when we should be glad he came to coach here.
WE MUST band together and let the administration know that Al Golden must be kept.
otherwise, it's more mediocrity for us.
Golden just seems like a bad fit at Miami, but he actually seems like a great fit for Wisconsin style football. He's a big picture program guy with strong recruiting. Golden with Alvarez's guidance and some good coordinators may be a totally different situation than what he has going at Miami. I think this is a great potential candidate.

Let's hope Wisconsin gets rejected a few times, and we might have a chance here.

For the love of God, please, let the fan base truly buy into that thinking. Perhaps it'll have some level of influence.
Where would we be without Al?
