We Can’t Lose

The final two spots - with 3 teams - ND, Bama, and Miami. Miami beat ND, and FSU who beat Bama. And we will be in the Cereal Bowl 🥣 crazy existence to be a Miami fan.

And that’s when we march!

Controversy on the bubble never results in accountability. It’s going to be the argument to expand the playoff or remove the automatic bids.

None of the G5 or non-Miami ACC teams are actually worthy of the playoffs this year. But they will take spots that could go to better teams.
My thoughts exactly...

The reasoning? Because if they don’t, they’re going against their own rules. I think we’re underestimating the backlash this will create on a National scale
What exactly is this backlash? Media OuTrAgE? Will there be Congressional hearings with severe tone? Maybe one of the committee members will get denied a scone at the press conference?

There are no rules. Just pain.

Considering Congress and politicians have been getting involved in College Football more and more lately because of how large of a business it is, while this is extreme and unlikely but I mean, not entirely out of question to some extent. When you cheat a school out of millions of đź’° they earned, yeah things can get dicey

It’s probably going to take an act of Congress to fix college football. And I’m using “fix” to mean repair something that’s broken, not skew the results a certain direction so that certain teams (and bettors) have an advantage. That wasn’t the point of my comment though. My point is that nothing will come of it. It’ll be on par with a member of Congress being censured, and I’m probably giving that “punishment” far more credence than it deserves.
