posts like these remind me that most of our posters think just like the committee and care more about losses rather than wins. There’s a chance we lost to a 10 win ACC champion on the road in OT and we are out here calling them scrubs lol

It also irritates me how most posters actively acknowledge how ****** the ACC is compared to either conferences and it’s always how bad the ACC is and never how much parity there is.

Yet when Kentucky goes to OT against Texas or when A&M needed to come back down 28 to win against a 4 win SC team the sec is just “deep”

YES Miami is better than Louisville & SMU, and YES I fully believe we’d boat race either of them right now.

But holy **** we re enforce the same argument the committee has made about these “good losses” and it’s maddening.

But these are 2 top 30 teams we are talking about here. Our resume is as strong as anyone’s.

You’re 💯 correct and I couldn’t agree more. I almost think people saying **** like “we lost to two terrible teams” are SEC bots but hey, just a theory.

Louisville beat Kentucky 41-0
Clemson beat USCE 28-14

These are the same SEC bottom feeders who took Texas and TAMU to the wire.

I wonder, is pleasing their beloved ND worth showing this and the potential fallout? Because make no mistake, there WILL be national outrage not just from Miami and our fans, but every CFB program, especially those who have ND on their future schedules.

I'm glad you are energized and spirited about this; but the 2000 Miami Snub was the reason things started to change. The regular beatdowns we handed in 2001 against Washington et. al. were MJ "I Took It Personally" proportional.

It was obvious to everyone that we were better than FSU, and would've beaten Oklahoma handily, but because the computer gave FSU a 0.0000001 edge, FSU got in and we didn't. Which was ridiculous. We beat the #1 ranked and #2 ranked team in our schedule, and our lone loss to was to a Top 15 team that finished third.

Us not getting in may be one thing; we didn't do what we needed to do against Louisville and SMU. Does anyone think at this point that we are worse than Louisville and SMU with the team that played against Pitt today? **** no. But by not taking care of business, you're putting it in someone elses hands. And now, with Notre Dame being the typical media darlings, they committee has plenty of reason to be Notre Dames fluffer. And Miami is Miami. If what happens what usually happens, don't be overly surprised. If you have to beg to be in the Hall Of Fame, you're not a Hall Of Famer. Same with the playoffs.
