Before you dislike this post, hear me out.

The above mentioned is our biggest hope.

The reason why I say that is because if that happens, Richt won't have a choice but to make drastic changes.

Going 5-7 this season and missing a bowl considering he won the Coastal last season with an Orange Bowl appearance would be so catastrophic that Richt will HAVE TO fire Searels and himself from calling plays.

We don't need to go 7-5 with a bowl win because it will give Richt's pride a little life and he won't budge on making the necessary changes in the offseason.

I'm telling you, we need Richt to fall all the way flat on his face.

It's the only way his pride will die.

Dude doesn’t give a shlt what happens on the field. He’s gonna believe what he wants to believes... that his players aren’t executing.

Out of all the scenarios I’d beat the most on us going 0-3
 
Richt will start throwing Bibles at people before he gives up play calling.

The only way the Offense will get the change it drastically needs is for the administration to go over his head & pick an OC themselves, and if they do that they basically have to fire Richt.

Everything comes down to, are the Money men at Miami willing to cough up whatever Richt is owed on his contract & put up another $20mill+ to get the next HC? If the answer is no, then Richt will be here til he retires, then next we just have to hope he gets so burned out that he steps down & retires by the end of year 4.

Or in other words, we're fxcked.

making cosmetic coaching assistant changes and Mork remaining HC is as pointless as trimming toenails to try curing a serious illness.

We are going 5-7. No changes will be made.

Even if Dugans leaves (he should be looking to get out of this mess), Richt will not bring in an experienced OC. He will just promote a ga like paltke.
