Great offensive performance today.

however, the d looks weak and slow. Gives up way too many 3rd and 4th down conversions.

Agree with you, offense played great, and of course I’m happy we won. They did though have some speed guys on offense that were hurting us.

Also, I think the announcers called it a shallow crossing route. They had a guy wide open on that route and burned us for some gains around 3 times. (Reminded me of those drag routes some teams would successfully run against us several years ago).

Better though to learn and hopefully correct this stuff after a victory.

Calm it down. Beating a rebuilding Louisville team that went 2-10 last year should be an expectation. Satterfield has maximized the talent on the roster, but Miami is significantly better and it showed. It's a win, a good one, but let's not pretend that this isn't the same team that managed to lose to Georgia Tech. That loss will haunt us, because it shouldn't have happened.

The expectation is to win out, and that includes the bowl game. Diaz manages to do that, maybe he gets some leeway, but he would have to make significant staff changes.
