We are stuck with Adidas until 7/1/2027!

I'm out of generation credits for today but if you can post the pictures of Bea, Manolo and Underdog I can try to add them when my credits refresh later.

Wake Forest wears Nike gear, we wear Adidas. We had significant injuries to multiple players Wake Forest nothing serious or long term. Same field, same conditions, only difference SHOES and who has been famouse with shoes???? NIKE! Can we sneak in some NIKE's? Can we trust Adidas? hmmmmm!!!
Idk why its so hard to understand what happened in that game....if you go back and watch how Wake played, every and i mean every tackle they made were either at the knees or if the could get a clean shot during a gang tackle they were taking shots at the upper body **** near head shots. WAKE WAS TRYING TO HURT MIAMI PLAYERS!!

Fraggle is a Vietnam vet, watch it my friend.
Technically I am but, in 1962 I was eligible for the draft, in applying for jobs I found that eligibility was a handicap. I decided to join the U S Army to eliminate the draft problem, in the process I discovered if joining one could select his training. The Sargeant suggested I signed up for Universal Nike Fire Control System Maintenance, a defensive position and I thought defense might be better than offense. I went to training and discovered if I flunked it was an immediate path to Vietnam, I applied every effort and actually did well enough that they made me an educator. MOS 226 involved electronics training which in the 60's was valued and after my 3 years I got my pick of corporations and was set up for a lifelong career. I started working on computers when they used Vacuum Tubes.

My heart goes out to Vietnam Veterans as that was a heartless war plus veterans suffered unbelievable horrors plus rejection from many americans. As an instructor I had to flunk a few soldiers which bothered me. After the Vietnam wall was built, I visited and there is a listing of every name on the wall, thankfully none of the names of those who flunked are on the wall.

I thank God every day that not only was I not involved in the war but also my military education set me up for a great career. My personal retirement is incredible and if you know anyone who faced the horrors, they were incredibly courageous yet scorned give them a belated THANK YOU. I did my time, I was fortunate. Floridians might be aware that Nike sites were deployed in the Keys during the Cuban Missile crisis, plus we protected SAC bases but I really don't deserve to be considered as a WAR veteran.

Looks like Rip woke up again. I'd love to know his alter ego.

Good stuff, Fraggle!
And you’re 100% correct.

Luck played a role, no doubt, in who went to Vietnam. My father was USMC out of Boot Camp in 1966. Statistically, he lucked out and was stationed at Cherry Point as an A-4 mechanic.

The Nike system was cool.
