OP, you can’t post **** like this even if you’re only trying to point out what’s painfully obvious. This administration and school will never be competitive with the football powerhouses who know what’s necessary to recruit, develop and win championships regularly. Just look at who they gave us as a HC.

Our facilities are not the reason why our season went the way it did. But, when trying to recruit the talent needed to routinely compete for championships, jaw dropping facilities like what Bama, Clemson, UGA, OSU, LSU (and soon UF) have make a big *** difference when paired with good coaching. Looks like UF is doing what’s needed to keep up with these programs.

On the bright side, we have SoBe and Manny. Go ahead and crap on me for saying what most on here know is true - if it makes you feel better.

College kid yes. But elite football players want to play for national championships. And Miami isn't even competing for an ACC championship.

That was about 6-7 years and it’s very outdated. Georgia state and many other group of 5 teams have better looking lockerrooms than Miami now and I’m not kidding, not even going to mention the amount of power 5 teams who do

You think recruiting kids that are into that wins games or creates a locker room full of kids more focused on things outside of football?

As long as you have an IPF, a decent stadium to play in and above average dorms you are more than fine. You’re better off spending a million dollars a year on 50 support staff guys that help evaluate, recruit, etc. Coaching and Recruiting budgets trump all.

Yeah.... Compare that to other major programs and our locker room is not that impressive. Everything else is top notch though. That said, everyone has facilities now. We have the best facilities in the program's history and we went 6-6 and lost to FIU. Facilities don't really mean sh*t if you don't have top notch coaching.

Hire a competent OC who uses their players correctly (SPREAD) and we are a Top 25 team. Manny fixed the defense in a year. We are far from being a Top 5 team, but not a Top 6-20 team.
