At least that was what Coach post-game interview implied...we need a lot of work. That is why we will have a successful season. How many times has there been a team that dominated opponents early, thought they were unbeatable and then lost their edge? Coach isn't going to let that happen, we saw domination he saw things that need fixing that’s makes him one heck-of-a coach. Even suggested that Toney can get better, how scary is that for opposing coaches?
Then there is Mensah, missed on 3 passes out of 30 yet Coach saw stuff that needs fixing.
The thing that makes GREAT players is the ones that make EVERY play routine and Mensah and Toney emulate that Toney catches EVERY pass that is catchable and Mensah completion percent highlights his reliability and then there is the spectacular that they delivery. Mensah pass to Toney as he was getting tackled, Toney being unbelievably elusive and fits so many roles.
Oh! Last night whenever there was a flag, I immediately thought it's going against us yet those officials were incredibly competent although that face mask was questionable, he touched it but did not grab it. Rather scary being a Cane and have calls favoring us. Who were those guys? Hope they do every one of our games!
