We are not Going to Win Until […the players decide that they are tired of losing.]

What happens when the crap behind Ivey is even worse? This dumbass fanbase then jumps down his throat even more. I'm quite sure if ANYONE stepped up and took Ivey's spot, Mario and his staff would play them. Let's be honest, Mario doesn't have any loyalty to anyone on this roster right now.

Where Mario went wrong is that he wasn't nearly as aggressive in the portal as he should have been. He should have straight up gone the Mel Tucker route and tried to completely overhaul the roster in one offseason....
It's hard to be worse than Ivey. That dude has gotten chance after chance after chance the last 4+ seasons. It's beyond time to move on from him. Give Jaden Harris more burn. Get Chris Graves on the field. Anyone else.

Mario was aggressive in the portal on the DL and it paid off well. This isn't a dominating unit by any means, but it's the strongest on the defense. I agree that he wasn't aggressive enough at LB and DB. Caleb Johnson and Darryl Porter are just guys. They're not good enough to fill in the glaring holes at those positions. Even if they were, we needed more than one take at each of those positions. We took 2 portal WR's in Ladson and Young, but again, neither was good enough to fill in the huge hole there as well. We tried to reel in some of the bigger fish like Addison and failed.

i guess playing someone else even if they are worse like jaden harris would be the fact that they are taking their lumps and hopefully getting experience and getting better
when it comes to Ivey we know what he is
and there is no upside to his play

Good point. Might as well see what the youngsters have, even if they are worse, then you know what they are, and can replace them too.

I thought for sure we would go undefeated once the turnover chain was pawned. All I see around here are negative threads well here is some positivity we will never have a problem getting teams to come play us.**** even the gators might be trying to put us back on the schedule.

We pretty much knew Mario would be a slow fix instead of a quick fix. From what we've seen so far, we have a lot to be concerned about at least from a game day perspective. Certainly hope there's some better stuff going on behind the scenes but IDK 🤷🏾‍♂️
The quick fix was Kiffin but people were so worried about him leaving in a couple of years. Mario will get things right but it will take a while.

They're too busy posting their highlights on social media after losses. I won't name names, but I saw at least a few players posting their individual "highlight" plays after Saturday's debacle. A lot of these guys are all about themselves and do not care about W/L's or the program.
This. Some talented guys who don’t give two flips about what will make this team win. Not all, but too many guys with lots of talent who won’t rehab or take the game seriously.

The negative threads come from negative performance..

…the players decide that they are tired of losing. This was the case in the Butch era when players decided to have player-run practices as extra work.
The players deciding they are tired of losing right after the end of the year awards banquet:

I don’t think anyone was picking a choice based on whether he’d leave in a few years or not. I do think people were turned off to Kiffen because he’s assumed as a quick fix and not a longer term solution. The powers that be wanted someone capable of rebuilding the program and the brand. I think we‘ve got our man. Lots of things went wrong last week, one of the most glaring is the fanbase. They’ve proven why a Kiffen wouldn’t work here. Had someone like him lost the way we did, the program would continue stepping back. Mario won’t. The on field results were trash. The commitment going forward is consistent and unwavering. This is a marathon, not a sprint. Right person at the right time.

Florida has players who do that too and it ****es me off

Its always the players fault until people start to realize the coaches/ staff are garbage.
We've got 2 Head Coches on the staff that has won NY6 bowls and conferences titles.

We've got a DC who was generally considered the best DC in the SEC over a 3-4 year stretch just recently. We've got the DB coach from the National Champions.

We've gotten the Broyles award winner(I know I know), we've gotten one of the better OL coaches in America.

Players can take some blame too.

Coaches were bad on Saturday also.

unfortunately, whether we adults like it or not, social media is part of the culture. It's automatic. Kids post everything - I don't think it's specific to the culture of a football team.

That's definitely a coaching issue, Schnelly and JJ certainly wouldn't tolerate that. Mario, we'll see.
just a bad take that's not in touch with the culture of kids today. Even some adults post EVERYTHING they do.... How many times do you see pics of people's meals????????? It's an automatic reflex for some of them....

If you want to cut the cancer from the body, then we need names

Those individuals should sit for the rest of the year, no questions asked...but of course they won't and the beat goes on, more so called upset losses and a team thats in alleged disarray.

I was talking about players "not caring about W's and L's." Not their social media activity. Are the two exclusive?

Addae shouldn't get any accolades from his UG tenure. Kirby (like Saban) is a DB Guru...
