Guys - I normally don't make threads, especially ones that aren't necessary new information. But the program is finally in such good hands with Mario and the staff. The tone is set at the top with our head coach and trickles down to our QBs. Look how impressive these two young men are! We got two future studs coming in at the most important position in football.

I can honestly say, I've been more impressed by this coaching staff, in 6 months, than any staff we've had this past 20 years.

Not just with recruiting ether, but scouting. I knew CMC was an excellent recruiter but I didn't realize how in-depth he evaluates recruits. From reading interviews with recruits, it seems like we are vetting ALOT of players and verifying what is seen on tape, with private workouts. For example, Gattis recently put Andy Jean through a private workout where both had the chance to see what the other brings to the table. It seems like this staff isn't just out there trying to get kids to commit. They are actually building relationships!

From everything you hear from the recruits, this staff is legit! I can't wait to see what the product, on the field, looks like. Cause, everything else seems right!

Was effort the issue?

Between Coker, Shannon, Golden, Richt and Manny, one of them hard to try lol.

There's stories of Coker recruiting off of recruiting websites. I know of one out of state kid, who went to win a NC at UF. He begged and pleaded to be recruited, and even almost signed, but Coker wasn't really interested.

IIRC, Shannon had an issue with Broward. He also had a dog house that size of a stadium.

Golden tried to fatten everyone up and couldn't move on from his bff

Richt hired his son as a qb coach

CMC seems like be been prepared for this for some time!
 
I could be thinking far too deep into all that has occurred in the past 7 months, but I would like to possit that Mario had been thinking about this entire possibility /reality for some time in the hopes or dreams that someday he would get the opportunity to return to his home and rebuild his Alma mater into the dynasty it once was. Now that takes alot of free time that he didn't have. But the "what could be" conversations with his most trusted inner circle must have occurred at some points in the past decade. His stops along the way and lessons learned combined with experiences are definitely on display. Let's hope the on field fruit tastes just as good as what we have experienced thus far. Feels Damm good right now. I know my pops is clapping in heaven right now, wish he could witness it here and now.
