Heard he's going to Bama /s
I’ve been a huge fan of his rhetoric from day 1 and I don’t think it’s shtick, it feels genuine to me and backed up by the evidence of how he’s moved. We needed to see it on the field. Year 1 couldn’t have gone worse and I think it would be disingenuous to say I wasn’t majorly concerned. We’ve looked great so far and that restored a lot of confidence for me in Mario’s football abilities.
He was also British. They never start anything they can finish.
It’s insane how accurate this is. The two biggest complaints, aside from losing, of the Miami teams in the last 20 years is no thumping on tackles and “small but athletic” Olines. Both of which Mario has eradicated. We l
We look like his Oregon teams did. He's done this before at multiple stops and there wasn't any reason to expect different.
Ultimately he has to win games we all know that, and I believe that he will. No one won’t that loves talent acquisition like Mario. Talent will take you further than where coaching takes you. However, let’s not distract from the point of the OP - passion and commitment. That’s fine but if he passionately goes 5-7 every year he’s getting fired. I love UM football. Nobody can doubt my passion. I’d be a horrible coach. Results matter infinitely more than intentions and passion doesn’t directly lead to results. I do think his passion is helpful.
Parliament and King George didn't seem to think soWe were all British then. Technically.
Status: Mario Ad Portas in ‘24, Que no? Will SEC children go to sleep trembling at the thought of Mario bringing his pro’grum to their trailer park filled landscape?A Catherdral of the Ibis Ascendant shall be built whereby San Mario Ciristobigballs will be canonized and we shall all bask in the glow of the glorious light shining from the Rings of Championships.
I have spoken.
Yeah I don’t see him leaving Miami! After 20 years of bad coaching hires I think we finally got our guy!If he wins a couple here, the only team he might go to might be the Phins..
