You can criticize mario and disagree with some stuff but i got no doubt he’ll do whatever to be successful here.

It feels real, I usually don’t watch press conferences from coaches here cause I always see bull**** snd get mad lol but with mario I believe him

They'll come for him but zero reason he'd ever take that job now that he is back home with a long-term deal in Miami—which was always his dream job.

Why would he leave Miami to live in Saban's shadow in Alabama? Especially if he rebuilds UM the right way; quotes as saying when the Canes are on point there is no better program in college ball.

He did the young man's game of climbing the coaching ladder; Rutgers from 2001 to 2003, back to UM for three years, across town to FIU for six seasons, Alabama for four years, Oregon for five years and back to Coral Gables at 51 years old last fall.

Wife is happy back home ... kids are happy relocated back to Miami ... brother and family are all in Miami ... and back at his alma mater.

Mario wants multiple rings at UM and to make Miami into what a Saban made Alabama. Outside of Dennis Erickson, no UM coach has two rings—as all bailed for supposed greener pastures that weren't really greener.

This dude isn't going anywhere unless Miami punts him someday.

We look like his Oregon teams did. He's done this before at multiple stops and there wasn't any reason to expect different.

It’s insane how accurate this is. The two biggest complaints, aside from losing, of the Miami teams in the last 20 years is no thumping on tackles and “small but athletic” Olines. Both of which Mario has eradicated.

Ultimately he has to win games we all know that, and I believe that he will. No one won’t that loves talent acquisition like Mario. Talent will take you further than where coaching takes you. However, let’s not distract from the point of the OP - passion and commitment.
