We are closer to irrelevancy than a CFP

Miami isn't closer to being irrelevant.

Miami, with James/Richt, is irrelevant to ACC Coastal and CFP races.

I have news for ya, we have been irrelevant for a few years now.

I would not call hosting Gameday and having the entire world worship/ripoff the turnover chain "irrelevant." We started the season ranked 8.

There's a big difference between middling and irrelevancy. Miami just needs a pulse to be relevant.

It's bad but what is sad the Right coach could have us competitive for a CFP spot in 2 yrs , Mork no so much

A bright young coach who can inject energy into this lifeless program and we’re right back in the swing of things. That’s the beautiful part about being the most prominent school in the most fertile recruiting ground in America - you’re just one homerun hire away from contention. Thing is we’ve whiffed on our last 3 head coaching hires

We are all guilty of writing our team's epitaph, but in my search for hope I came across a couple things that make me believe we will return to relevance. First, this Notre Dame team that we're watching right now just won 4 games a couple years ago. The Florida Gators also won just 4 games twice in the past five years. Playing in the watered down ACC affords us the ability to get back fast.

To paraphrase Tony Montana in Scarface, "In this game, you gotta get the coach first. Then when you get the coach, you get the recruits. Then when you get the recruits, you get the championship."
