What should be our floor:

1. 10 wins, even if it takes the bowl game to get there.
2. Win the Coastal
3. Beat either the Noles or Va Tech
4. Land top 10 recruiting class
5. See marked improvement on our OL.
6. We don't see a huge plummet in production from our DT's
7. Improve noticeably on 3rd down
8. Go to the I more often and effectively use a power run game on occasion.

What I dare to hope for but still not going too crazy:

1. Win 12 games total.
2. Win the ACC
3. Beat the Noles
4. Beat Va Tech
5. Beat LSU
6. Have a true top 10 D (not a statistical farce like this year's)
7. Own both LOS in nearly every game
8. Get in the playoffs

High hopes on that defense one, Manny has never fielded a true top 10 defense he has always played wefense with some trickery get used to it

I expect to win the coastal, I hope to win the ACC and make the playoffs which I think is a true possibility. Our OL, DTs and QB will be the difference in taking it to the next level. I am confident Perry is the answer at QB. Hopefully Willis and some other guys can step in at DT and Kul will coach them up. OL is the biggest question imo

i expect 11-1 or 10-2.

coastal championship and in the acc championship game with shot at playoffs is all we can hope for.

beat VT and FSU and the rest will take care of itself, obviously beating LSU will help the brand and the ranking

Win the Coastal and do it by physically whipping all those mediocre teams in our division we squeaked by this past year, and in one case lost to. I'm so tired of watching the team struggle against GT, UVA, UNC and Pitt. None of these teams are any good, but they all somehow manage to be tougher than us upfront, which is why those games are always like pulling teeth. Those teams all know it, too, which I suspect is one of the reasons why they all get so fired up to play Miami.

Being able to beat those teams somewhat convincingly would be a great indication that we are getting closer to taking that next step.

Year 3 is usually when great coaches get their teams flying. If Richt doesn't go to the playoffs next year, with all the returning starters, I question if he'll ever do it.

I actually feel worse about this team than I did the 2017 team, but I guess I'm in the minority. We just lost our top 4 defensive lineman and have no depth, so I'm concerned about our defense. As many have stated, we aren't exactly a dominant defensive, more of an opportunistic defense. Without that havoc up front, we are going to really rely on some guys that we haven't been able to rely on in the back.

Also, unless we see a significant jump up in qb play and we find a way to be more consistent in the run game, we are not going to take the next step. We have been miserable on 3rd down, short yardage and red zone the last two years now, so I don't see us bucking that trend with 2 new offensive linemen. We might win 10 games because of schedule, but we have some tough road games this year. Just me, though. We need much better QB play and way more offensive efficiency to overcome what will likely be an average defense. No way we get 25 turnovers again next year to make up for it.

Beat LSU and FSU.

Win 10 games in our Charmin soft schedule.

Don't get embarrassed in the ACCCG.

Use motion once.

For the love of god stop exclusively having drives that are either scoring drives in under 2 minutes or three and out.

I expect to beat FSU, play in the ACC Championship Game, and WIN a major bowl game. Don't really care about style points. Win by 20 or by 2.

Sounds realistic, we should be the team you must beat to win the Coastal - that should be a given. Besides winning the Coastal I want us to improve over the season to a point where we compete with Clemson in the ACCCG.

1. Win 2 out of 3 between LSU, FSU, VT
2. Win the Coastal - This should now be a given each year
3. If we lose - at least lose competitively to good teams. I can handle a 10 point loss to Wisconsin. 35 pt losses to Clemson, or losing to a 5-7 Pitt team can't happen anymore.
