How much better was Berlin out of the shotgun?!? How much better could Kyle Wright have been?

Its funny you mentioned old games as I have been watching games from 96-99 period for the past few weeks and you can just see the steady progression of the machine that was to come in 2000-2002. Those kids had that fire and I know there are some Butch Davis haters and lovers, but regardless, this man had an eye for talent unlike anyone except for maybe JJ

I was at the Kickoff Classic against Taint in '99. Literal turning point for the program, and a preview of what was coming over the next several years.

1999 was crazy. Here's our first 6 games:

- Ohio St was a "we got our swagger back" game
- Then we started 2-3
- We were down 28-0 to BC in the 3rd Quarter - It couldn't feel any lower than it did at that point

But we came back to beat BC. We won 47 of our next 50 games.
