Watching NC St vs. ND

-CB’s are basura. We’re not running the football against this D but screens beat them.

-They like nickel sets on 3rd down and they don’t have a scary pass rush but they’re not a slouch.

-They blitz effectively and go from traditional looks to a zero look.

-Herndon needs to be option A with Richards being option B because these LB’s aren’t as athletic as he is

-We have to keep the edge in the run game and contain on broken plays or they’ll eat us alive...a lot of Wimbush’s throws are off reads so we need to keep eye discipline.

-I would lead on the Zone game a little more than usual because they attack the middle of the field.

-Adams is a north and south runner and is a big, powerful kid with breakaway speed so we need to limit missed tackles and make sure to wrap and drive

- O-line are really good at sealing holes and getting into the second level.

- without Adams, this is a 7 win team...Wimbush doesn’t scare me but he will hurt you if you let him.

Edit: This is also the one game where we need to chill like a muthafukka on the blitz and maintain lane integrity. We try all the slants and stunts, they will run all over us for the win. Give them man coverage and stack the box.

VT game is more important in terms of ACC. However I would love to beat both of these guys. Crazy to think we haven't lost since that nd game last year, which we should have won..

They absolutely do not. Nd is more physical by an order of magnitude.

ND has arguably the best OL in college football. Jackson will get washed out of the game all day long by two future 1st round picks. This is a game where contain and less stunts need to be the objective or we’ll get gashed all day.
