Watching away games, bars or at home?

I've been on the beach, in the south, in August/September plenty. **** no.

But in all seriousness that is a great setup and I'd totally watch a game there. Just... like... after October.

Now that I'm older I'd much rather watch at home. I have a projector I hook up for night games. It's really sweet but it's got to be dark for me to get all the way out to 120"

Depends. If it's a nooner against Syracuse then home is always going to win. If it's a big away game then a bar full of Canes fans can be the next best thing (or sometimes even better) than actually being there. We were at Duffy's in the Grove for FSU last season and the experience there with a few hundred people going beyond bezerk on that last td is something that'd be hard to duplicate in your living room even if you're having a watch party- and it's not even like chain restaurant Duffs is Canes Central on the bar front too.

I really enjoyed watching that catch in the stadium...and then seeing the Noles fans quietly file out losers!
 
Game days are tough.

Its difficult enough to watch games at home with the interruptions, noise, surrounded by people that can get on your nerves. But at least I can lock the door and choose my company.

Can't do that in a bar.

And at home they'll forgive you for throwing & saying things and being an *** when the game goes bad
