WatchESPN and ABC

I'll echo the antenna idea -- works great for network TV. I have the cheap $15 Amazon one and can pick up all the major networks with it taped to a wall in my apartment. Your results will vary depending on where you are located, obviously.

20 bucks on amazon should get you an antenna with an amplifier. Unless you live in BFE you should be able to receive ABC.

I have dish. ABC is available. I just wasn't sure if an ABC game would be on the app.
I have dish and use the mydish app. You can control it the same as at home, see all the channels you subscribe to with a guide and even control your DVR and watch recorded episodes.

HD antenna for 25 bucks gets me 15 channels including ABC. I usually throw in a sling subscription during football season for ESPN.

Yes, but in order to play it, you'll need to put in your cable provider information. Since you ditched it, I don't think you can, but I might be wrong.

Ask a friend for their login. I don’t have cable but my friend has the top of the line directv package and I have his login. I get everything I need through my appletv and roku.

I get all of them on my antenna except ABC for some reason. I will have to stream on watch espn

You can run the wire to your soffit and mount the antenna on the face of your fascia. Be cautious of any trees that might obscure your signal.
Yeah, that's how my dish is now. I might try that, I'm trying out the streaming services now but also want to have an antenna

It's good to have both. Then you can have two TVs going at one time. Streaming is good, but sometimes the quality isn't good.

Yeah, if the internet goes out, your screwed. Also, as I said I live right in the middle of Ft Myers and Palm Beach and would like to see both locals. My parents about 15 miles away have a high antenna that sticks up about 4 ft above the roof and get all the channels on both coasts.

That is what I was going to mention next. If you plan on mounting one on the exterior try to get it as high as you can. Definitely helps with the signal. Also, depending on the singal localtion, you might want to review what direction your signal is coming in at. Depending on which way your house sits, you might want to consider the position of the antenna towards Ft Myers or Palm Beach

Good idea, thanks. One is probably a little stronger than the other. I know Ft Myers came with my Dish plan but I'd be happy to get either.

Would be ideal. The more the better. Cut cable a long time ago. Never looked back.

Not sure if you do, but an electrical outlet in the attic will be needed if you do decide with the exterior antenna.

I'm in Tampa and easily get 30+ channels. More than I'll ever watch.

It really is a no brainier. Thanks for the advice.

If you live in the sticks like I do where an HD antenna will not work, give Misfit Mods a try.
