I'm hoping that this season went so bad that he will see that it won't work in Miami if not it will be a long few years.

TCU is 11-0 with a team that went 500 or worse the last four years and worse talent. guess dykes could figure it out

Every man has his breaking point.

A lot of it has to do with players who looked him in the eye 10 months ago and told him they would go to war with him until the bitter end and those players let him down at the first sign of adversity. Turned there back on him. Now horrible coaching has a lot to do with it but I’m thinking he feels like he was played. He should have done what Lincoln Riley did and he knows that now. Realized it a year too late.

I don’t disagree with this but also realize that every situation is different. Did Dykes have to deal with the internal rot of a program that didn’t care for the last 20 years? I’m not trying to make excuses for this misery of a season but I would put money on the fact that this was a bigger job than Mario even realized when he got here.

He’s made some bad coaching hires among other errors but I also see what he did at Oregon which gives me hope.

I actually would take TCU talent over ours right now. QB is a grinder and that got that WR who will likely be a day 1/2 pick. That trumps whatever we have at the moment.
