Everyone of our losses ended the exact same way. With a questionable Beck INT that would later be blamed on a "miscommunication". Indiana ran a much cleaner operation and they didn't make stupid mistakes or have "miscommunication". That is why they are National Champions. On the 4th and 5 where Mendoza ran it in for a TD, both Bain and Mesidor said after the game that we knew it would be a QB draw. When the reporter asked them why they didn't stop it, Bain and Mesidor both said there was a miscommunication in the defense. I believe the call never made it to Mo Toure who was completely out of position to stop a QB draw as he was aligned as a safety trying to defend a pass. Again, little mistakes are costly in Championship games.

With all that, we still had an opportunity to steal that game if Beck doesn't attempt that low percentage pass into double coverage at the Indiana 41 with 52 seconds left on 1st and 10. That's all history now. Time to move forward and make 2026 about winning #6.

No excuses, but we had the toughest road to get there, and we came up one drive short. We had so much go right for us along the way though...how many third down clutch conversions, how many timely INT's, etc etc etc. I'm ok with it, but for **** sake I aint watching that **** again lol

Right there with you. This team is more complete and well rounded than last year’s. Mario has activated the juggernaut.
Yea I never been so excited for Canes football in my entire life, I know we are in juggernaut mode. I am not worried I got my feet on the desk smokin and chillin, knowing that we about to **** up the whole system.

Hurts worse because after that run we had, I *knew* we were gonna punch it in on the last drive to finish a magical season. It just made sense. I believed.

The playoff games before that I was still somewhere between pleasantly surprised and thankful to be where we were. But when I saw we were getting the ball with a chance to win and about a minute left, well, that’s who we had become. It was the perfect moment and we were built for it.

Yeah, it hurts.

I have not been able to watch the natty game or last drive, we had #6

Appx 60 yards to go a lil less than 2 min left, all we had to do was run the ball or throw it short like the last 3 games and we score a TD!

At least throw it to Baby Jesus if your going to take that long throw risk!

SMDH

Throw it to the pylon he either runs underneath it or you over throw and it goes out of bounds because that safety over the top was late. The bad miss was throwing it short and let the trail defender get back into play…

Sucks
