Pretty standard high school protocol tooThis is pretty standard stuff to be in shells after a scrimmage. They are still doing tackling circuits and thudding up. By not wearing the lowers you are emphasizing keeping players up/thudding. I would understand your gripe more if they were just in helmets like a walk thru.
Junction Boys for life! Grind dem **** boys into the ground and see who survives!
The guys at last chance U sleep in their pads that’s about itFind me one school who practices full pads for all of fall camp
I'm in agreement with you... I mean there's probably rules against how many padded practices you're allowed, but that doesn't matter. And then there's the whole keeping your players healthy & stuff, but never mind that...
If you get the paperwork rolling I'll join in with you on the class action lawsuit, something needs to be done about this!
They also Have full pad 3adaysThe guys at last chance U sleep in their pads that’s about it
But yall keep sleeping on our WR's...
Lashlee will have thee boys ballin with this uptempo fast paced offense.
We got plenty speed & legit 7-8 playmakers at WR, plus 3 good TE's & 3 explosive RB's, we're gonna look like a completely different team offensively than last year.
Great idea! We all sign on as class members, say we were harmed by practice not in pads. We all get damages.....probably end zone tickets for next Bethune Cooke game, one set of those fake plastic Pom-poms on a stick (one green, one orange), maybe a media guide, and $2.90 in cash. Our lawyers get $6 Mil in fees.I'm in agreement with you... I mean there's probably rules against how many padded practices you're allowed, but that doesn't matter. And probably all white boys (slow), too. Gotta hurt.Right on man, let's mock Jimmy Johnson because he coached a long time ago. Because we're clearly a better coached team than any he ever fielded.
***** it. Let's keep doing what we've been doing. It's clearly been working.
ACC = All Canes Conference..... si o no?
Manny > Jimmy. Got it.
But in all seriousness, the 1958 Aggies would probably beat last year's Canes. Tell me I'm wrong.

Why don't you send Jimmy an email?Do you think Jimmy Johnson had them practicing in shorts midway through fall camp? And we wonder why this team has gotten soft.
Like the old saying goes - you are what you do every day. This team showing up in shorts might not seem like a big deal, but this is the same team that a few years ago was having a snowball fight on the sidelines of a bowl game. They need to toughen up, and in my book that means full-contact practices in pads.
One man's opinion.
Did 240lbers exist back then?Read down down for roster and height/weight of junction boys....Most linemen under 200 lbs.
A center at 145. My HS team in the ‘60’s was bigger.
I guess people back then were generally smaller. In the earlier ‘60’s, a 240 pounder was huge.

I love it!
That's what I keep thinking when I see these "experts" predicting a horrible season for us.Naw let them keep thinking
“Dee Wiggins doesn’t have hands”
“Pope is too skinny”
...etc
LCE, completely agree. I think we’ll push the ball downfield aplenty this season and will utilize balance with the rushing attack to keep defenses guessing what we’ll call next. Add in the tempo and the heat at HRS and we should leap out of the gates for 2020. I feel badly for the Niles who is what, our 2nd home game this year? Well nah actually I don’tBut yall keep sleeping on our WR's...
