Miami and coach Mario Cristobal received some huge news on Tuesday afternoon as the No.1 propsect in the class of 2026 in Jackson Cantwell made his decision to commit to Miami.

Miami head coach Mario Cristobal was extremely excited about the commitment, even though he wasn't present to witness it in person due to attending the ACC Spring Meetings. According to reports, you could hear Cristobal shouting "Let's go!" in the hallway, clearly pumped about the commitment.

Mario did have an idea. Cantwell called him 5 minutes before and encouraged Mario to watch the event. Cantwell said Mario was the only coach he called, of course.

Like I said, in the other thread, plenty of receipts over the last couple of weeks from a whole bunch of doubters on this site. But many others, like myself, always believed in Mario and always believed he could get this done! So shout out to all those guys on here and maybe the doubters will start seeing the reality of the recruiting power of our head coach!

To his credit, he recruits better than anyone, he helps raise big $, and he corrects his mistakes . This is a very good football team that will take the field against the Irish.
