Miami didn’t just beat North Carolina on Tuesday night. They turned the Watsco Center into one big Canes flex.

During halftime of the 75-66 win over the Tar Heels, the Miami football team was honored on the court, and the crowd absolutely loved it.

It’s always cool seeing the programs show love to each other, but it just hit different with UNC in the building. Basketball handles business. Football gets recognized. Fans going crazy. That’s the type of night you remember.

Mario had to hold him out there on the court with them. He appeared to come from the stands and not on the court with the team. I hadn't noticed it was Mesi at that point. Everyone from this years team should have walked out. Good times in the Gables.

Some of the guys who are getting ready for the Combine/draft are probably gone already and in training. But it was nice to see Mesidor’s and the bond he has with his coach. Truly special. There are more genuine feelings between players and coach than you ever saw with Saban or Meyer or Harbaugh.
