Defense, lights out apart from a couple 2H drives. Fundamentally sound, very few penalties (if any?), solid tackling for a majority of the game.

Offense…mediocre, and that’s being kind. Our WRs struggle to get consistent separation, our interior run blocking is very streaky, and Dawson clearly didn’t trust Beck to push it downfield late.

Lot of work to do before a war against FSU.

Oddly enough, bye comes at a good time. Self scout and come back with fire knowing you haven’t played your best game on offense. Defense played as good as I’ve seen in years.

Moving forward we are going to continue to see 2 high safeties and 7 guys walked up on the line. Dawson either goes full phalanx until the safeties creep down, or he starts to get creative with his short passing game (tunnel and bubble screens ain't it).

They were missing 3/4 of their defensiveline. Now we are acting like they were the 85 bears, after reading on this board ealier this week that LSU Offense and Nuss were bad and we expose them.

We're a good team deserving of our ranking but we can get got if this starts to be a trend of playing down but either way I think there's no team this year that is separating from the pack so you have to win these type of games.

Beck has to be better, but that first half defensive performance was something I haven’t seen from us in a long, long time. That was about as violent as you can be in 2025.
