But I still feel confident in his offense to get the W tonight. Miami’s offense not so much...

True. But a good measure of a coach is how he does against better talent. At WSU, Leach has over 15 wins against teams with higher recruiting rankings. The next closest team, Utah, has 5.

Its only a better measure when a coach is left with that talent from a previous coach. That excuse goes out the window year 3. When you are still using that excuse in year 8, you are a corch.

So does Miami against CMU and NC......what is your point

Leach lost to a significantly more talented Pac 12 team. Miami lost one game to a much less talented ACC team and nearly lost to a G5 team today. You don't see a difference?

Leach loses games as big favorite all the time. It happened at Texas Tech frequently when he couldn't get past miserable Colorado teams. Two years ago Washington State was undefeated and ranked, before being drubbed on the road as 15 point favorite against a California team that finished 5-7.

He did avoid defeats like that last season. But that was the only recent exception at Washington State. Every other year has featured early season upsets by the like of Portland State, Rutgers, Eastern Washington. All of those defeats including tonight were at home, with the exception of that 2017 Cal game.

Portland state and eastern washington say HELLO

Texas Tech and Washington St.

He won 11 games at both places (something neither of those programs had ever done, or have done since).

He has a top 10 offense every year, and he’s never waiting on the next Dorsey to show up.

We would have to supplement him with a competent DC, but even without one we’d win the coastal every year without a problem.

Offensive recruiting would take care of itself as WRs, RBs, and QBs would be lining up to play in his system.

Stop acting like we can do better than Leach at this point. After Diaz is fired the admin will hire Cristobal. Bet your house on that.
