Completely agree. It's something that has to at least be considered. But like another poster stated above, whatever the issue is, at some point you have to consider it a sunk cost move on.

F them & the $$$ they spent, that's on them. Lol at literally being held Hostage because of wrong financial decisions on their part.I said it in the game thread. it has to be the boosters demanding he plays because of the money they spent.
Affecting the decision to bench him?
Great question posed by Through The Smoke post game podcast.
Seriously, how can Mario justify continuing to play TVD, while we’ve seen RBs and other make one mistake, and not be seen for the rest of the game?
It has to be the money, right?
I’d imagine the trepidation surrounding benching TVD is that the staff isn’t ultimately all that high on Emory.
No...the staff love's Emory, and the players love him even more.I’d imagine the trepidation surrounding benching TVD is that the staff isn’t ultimately all that high on Emory.
I'd assume those same boosters hate losing, so at this low point, I can't see them really wanting TVD back there anymore....F them & the $$$ they spent, that's on them. Lol at literally being held Hostage because of wrong financial decisions on their part.
If you can beat Clemson down 10pts in the 4th, then he could've beaten NCST and Boston College. FSU and Louisville might be too much to ask, but to not give him a chance and leave everything the same doesn't sit right to me. Ask his teammates and 90% will tell you let's roll with EW....... Miami has an inexperienced true freshman on the bench and a sophomore who can't hit the broad side of a barn as a passer.
With those two options and Florida State on deck, sadly your best best it working with damaged goods, Tin Cup Van Dyke and trying to get him over the yips and ready to go.
Coaches are high on Williams' potential, but also know he is nowhere near ready to lead this team in 2023 with Florida State, Louisville and Boston College down the stretch.
Evidently they're okay losing, because it's the same Ole same Ole.I'd assume those same boosters hate losing, so at this low point, I can't see them really wanting TVD back there anymore....
Lets game this out because that really doesnt make sense to me. Here are the facts: TVD has looked like dog**** the last 4 games he has played in. He has 11 TOs with 10 being INTs and a record of 1-3 during that stretch. He is a lame duck of a player right now. There is nothing that suggests that he gives us any chance to win moving forward. Now if you want argue that he gives us a better chance than Emory, fine, but that isnt a ringing endorsement of the kid....
