Teams up north were supposed to wilt down here from the sun -- physically and mentally. And we were supposed to be accustomed to it.

But Mich. St. got stronger in the second half and we got weaker. Whatever happened to our conditioning?

People don’t realize that the Noon issue has more to do with extremely sluggish play that the heat. For whatever reason, noon starts are brutal with this team.

It wasn't but the trick was that we were in better condition than them. I don't think we work very hard from Sunday to Friday.

We cant run the ball, that **** only works if you cant pound the rock.. Plus whenever we had some type of tempo the big 10 refs had a "clock malfunction" and had to stop play

The heat was about to kick in against Michigan State late in the 1st, beginning of the 2nd. The sideline reporter was even saying she saw Michigan State players with towels over their heads and sitting in the shade during our drive when the game was still 7-3. Then Mallory dropped that wide open TD and it was all down hill from there.

Momentum is a funny thing. Mallory drops that pass, Spartans drive and score to take the lead, and suddenly everyone on their sideline is re-energized. Got to put pressure on teams and assert your will if you want help from the elements, otherwise it's just noise.

Considering it's still hitting middle to high 80's this time of the year up north, a noon game in Miami is nothing.

Play the game later in the year when temps drop, it's more of a factor. 21 points more of a factor, no.

I told you all this all week. We are two weeks removed from August. It’s still summer weather everywhere. You really think they would wilt? This place.

Michigan State outsmarted us with those makeshift towel shelters Once they figured that out it was all downhill from there.

I thought we would wear them out in the fourth, I was wrong we were the ones that got pipe down at the end.

Big 10 teams are stronger, better conditioned..

We barely can stand the heat. Whatever u remembered bout our Canes in the past, stop; this team ain’t remotely them.

I tried telling everyone. Better teams play better in the heat. When we were good long ago, it was an advantage.

It's total bulls#it. It got up to 87 in Indianapolis today. No one cares about South Florida heat. And the "humidity" doesn't factor in either. We just suck.
