Was Rosier giving up 11 of 12 on third down?

To start the game?

First three drives Clemson had tore right through our defense.

Yes Rosier stinks and isnt a P5 QB.

But the game was OVER after the first quarter bc our overhyped defense couldnt stop a **** thing.

Feasting off turnovers of bad teams doesnt make a defense great. Stopping great offenses does. We are so far from great on that side of the ball AS WELL. Its not just on Richt and Rosier.

our dbs werent fast enough for the clemson players. the only guys who looked like they could make plays at that speed were carter and smith.
 
Who cares now Rosier is our QB till the competition open up. Look to future young grasshopper.
 
Defense came out flat. Let them get up 21-0 (offense probably should of had 10 at that point).

Defense adjusted and got us 4 stops in a row. Offense failed to adjust and capitalize.

End of day it’s in offense.

Smith was terrible. He struggled filling in for Bandy.

And Both Jaquan sand Jackson did fine. Smith, Young, and Redwine really struggled

Clemson put up what, a combined 75 pts on Bama in the last two title games, is Bama's D overhyped? In order to be a contender, you have to have any unit capable of stepping up at any given time, and this offense wasn't capable of doing so. Not putting it all on Rosier, as it is much more difficult when missing your #1 RB, WR, and TE, and we do not have the depth yet to overcome such losses. But still.

Smith is a good-sized, true freshman safety playing the slot. Not surprised that he struggled filling in for Bandy vs a talented wr corp.
 
The defense is ranked in the 80’s on 3rd down. It has been bad ALL YEAR.

What you saw tonight was no different from 3/4ths of our games this year. The difference is Clemson then actually converted in the RZ.

The defense is as guilty for this loss as the O, and if you excuse it its only bc you have a boner for Diaz bc hes a cuban from sofla.
 
Kelly Bryant was 23-29 with 250 passing yards and a TD. He was 15-15 at one point.

Yes lets make Iaz the HCIW lmfao yall are pathetic with this hardon for the cuban donofrio.

Our Defense played like **** too. They were completely dominated in the first half. No excuses. Diaz got his *** handed to him like everyone else.

We played a lot of zone early on and got beat.

When we "settled in" it was because we went nickel and dime man press.

1. Your last line is borderline racist.

2. Diaz got worked for parts of this game. He also rebounded and controlled most of the middle, and it only really got out of hand when the O decided the Turnover Chain would look great in Clemson Orange. The offense didn't have a single good drive the entire game. THE ENTIRE GAME. Not when they had guys wide open, not when they were gifted a possession inside the 30, not when Clemson pulled their starters. There wasn't a single possession where they succeeded on the field. THAT is the definition of losing the game.

This and we brought the blitz and began to aggressively attack Clemson's O. Herbstreit even mentioned the change during the broadcast

Right after we had given up a billion yards and points. Was an atrocious gameplan from a coach who has made most QBs look invincible.

This has been the story all year. I don't know why but we are an awful zone defense. I cringe when it's third and medium or long and we drop into zone. Our best d is when we play man and spy the qb. But you can't just play one d all the time. Our zone d needs to get cleaned up for next year.
