Was Pete black balled?

He lied to me about two offers gaurenteed money cause he was trying to push me to a certain gm as a package deal with another client... Found out from them later on cause they both thought their offers were so much better. Alonzo was heated with me over the nonsense till I told him that I wasn't told nothing like that.
**** - I would have been in his office asap

Personally I'm not a fan of drew. He's a slimey dude and he's cost me about 8 mill
Ik someone who had a nasty lawsuit with him for not being paid on the the clients He brought in to RSR. So that doesn’t surprise me lol

No dog in this fight,And obviously not a fan of his agency , but didn’t Pete sign OL that ended up being first rounder on a Texans?
Huh. He don't have no agency... he's mehlki Doo boy. And every dog gotta have a day. Would be nice to have an agent with a smidge of morals atleast. Alot of established agents, majority of established agents would never do what they do and talk these late round at best kids into leaving school. Here's 5k and we'll take 1.5 on ur first contract if ur such and such round... Scumbag ****.

Wouldn’t it be in the best interest of the agent for the player to be a higher draft pick? Not sure why you would coerce a player to leave school to be an UDFA.

It's called bottom feeding. If you can't get the blue chip prospects, you scavenge for anything you can get in order to keep the lights on. If you get enough late round guys and take your percentage, you might be able to stay afloat. And if a few of them hit, then you can make money on the 2nd contract. You can also mix in the occasional small school higher round pick that you scouted and built a relationship with better than the other agents did.

Safe to say drew came out his pocket. I'll leave it at that. One thing about drew is he ain't scared to come out his pocket to get right. The king of the gift (then on ur next contract you see he billed u for it. Lol)
Poor GR. Done got fleeced...

This sounds like something that is probably more common than a layperson would realize. I can definitely see this having happened on multiple occasions with different agents and players as well.

Sometimes the only way to really know shlt like this, you actually have to be in the game.

Does that effect his pay as well though? Or is it structured he gets paid upfront?
It’s a scumbag move regardless if he lied about anything to steer you anywhere. Sorry to hear that.

Smh. Nah it's not actually. I ain't talking about lyin. Lyin is what they do. What most agents won't do is waste their time on kids who they don't KNOW gonna make them some money. Kids that are gonna be 6th 7th round at best have agents as a technicality. They get someone that's one of the boys basically. No firm is gonna pick up those kids cause they make pennies off of them and it's all about maximizing they time with compensation.

Because you have to be an established option to get that job. Chief is the only real talent they got. For them mehlki has an established name. Primarily in soccer and MMA. But it's a name all the same. He's been tryin to break into football for a minute now. So for him his options are limited and technically speaking kids always have a chance to improve they stock. Besides that agents get in this game not for the initial contract. They worried bout the second and third...

Nah. Gregs a good kid. Nephew him and dee been roommates since day 1. Enjoyed watching them all grow up some together. His choice from here but he's been in a few of our ears for a minute now. Think he'll be okay. Key is just limiting the favors. Lol

He gets paid a percentage on ur contract regardless of gaurenteed etc unless you structure it that way. The one to ask about that stuff is @apfenny3 or ahmmon. From what I always saw though it's more about favors with them.
