Was Brad kaaya holding us back?

No. Remember, Kaaya was trained under Golden’s system. He was actually a very good HS quarterback.

Golden’s system held Kaaya back.
Problem with Laaya was lack of athleticism, footwork and pocket presence. He was as pure a passer as there was. On a BIG 10 Team with a OL or a Bama. He would have been deadly

On 2020 UF he'd be Kyle Trask and end up a 2nd rounder on my Bucs, smh. Actually Kaaya has better arm talent than Trask.

TALK ABOUT SETTING US BACK:

Brad didn't hold us up anywhere near as much as us completely WASTING all of those QB reps in practice on Tate Martell hoping that he'd actually had the skills to be a QB here. It cut into the development of the other QBs.

In addition, the time wasted on retrieving his errant WTF?😳 throws alone also set back our receivers and RBs because they spent SO MUCH TIME chasing down his grounders and foul balls into the stands that they had little time left for actually catching passes to improve their skills. .

It's mindboggling the amount of wasted time one individual can wreak on a team's practice.
