Was 2019 the worst Miami season since the 1970s?

I think it even tops 2007. As bad as that team was, they didn’t lose to teams like FIU and La Tech.
No, 2006 and 2007 were worse. I say this because the Hurricanes were ranked #2 going into November 2005 and had been a plausible national title contender. To go from a point where a 9 win season was considered a disaster to winning just 7 games in 2006 and 5 in 2007, to averaging around 20 points a game...that was worse for me.

Manny Diaz and Willie Taggart are the 2 worst coaches in CFB since Ears Whitworth.

Whitworth inherited Bart Starr at Alabama. He went 0-10, with all 10 losses by at least 15 points. He followed that up with a pair of 2 win seasons, and was fired.

Great question. I was there in the 70's. Good football. Just didn't win enough. Saw some epic football back then when we "sucked".. To answer your question. Yes . This 2019 team sucked worse. At least the Canes of old had heart. The 2019 team didn't lack talent. It lacked heart. Just my ****ed up opinion.

Go Canes!!!!!

Yet, we still beat the seminholes
Something that probably won’t happen again for another dozen years. The Noles got rid of their problem. Meanwhile, ours is still here because nobody gives a **** at this pathetic excuse for a university that fails at everything spectacularly.

Well, the thunderstorm we've been in for the last 15 years, last year the wind blew a little harder and the rain came in sideways.

But when you've been in a storm so long, its hard to notice such a change. :/
