Warren Sapp on 560 WQAM

The one thing that has been noted by many who have personally met Sapp, or encountered him in public, is that he's a first class TOOL. The one thing I can remember about this guy is that he went all out vs Nebraska on the big stage for 4 quarters. I'm a dude so I could give a **** about his personal behavior, but when he speaks about football in relation to The U and how he sees the football team being ran I'm going to listen. He knows what it looks like when it runs smooth. He called this guy out from the jump, and TOOl or not he called it right.

But why does #47 has to say anything at all? Especially telling fans to "calm their asses down!" That's just as bad as ********....I mean BJ,...Blake James saying that Fat al is the right man for the job? No need to kiss ***, just give a non committal answer!

Because maybe he knows that brighter days are ahead, with a new univ. President AND a NEW HC after next season! :noidea:

I guess his nephew didn't get that memo.

Anyone who took Irving's public comments at face value is fcking moron anyway. You have to look at his motivation. He wants his kid to go to UM, and he might need a favor or two from UM in the future. He doesn't want to burn that bridge, so he says what UM wants to hear publicly. He's a politician, who has learned the game.

For all his faults, Sapp isn't a politician. He just says what's on his mind.

It's Irvin, you loud-mouth, bloviating, head hen of the old ladies club. No "g." Get it right.
Wow, you are a moron.

I love Sapp like the other poster said he knows football to **** with him being a nice guy in public to many people feel like these guys owe them something when in reality he don't you **** he played his *** of for the teams you cheer for mission accomplished!!!!

FWIW Irvin was on QAM Thursday afternoon. When asked about Tim he said that Miami didn't build a strong relationship w him and that "you have to work to get these kids". After saying this he launched into the fan negativity thing, as if he forgot he was supposed to be schilling the company line.

The interview was on about 3:15, maybe a podcast is available.

Will Sapp be band from sidelines for this?

So now the big ******* in the room is loved because he's "keepin' it real", and the guy whose been a huge proponent for the program was lying and felt the need to give a detailed answer when he could have given a very short one.

This board is great!
Lol you must be knew around here. That's how it works. If a player or coach doesn't agree with what a poster said then that person is complete garbage and has no idea what he is talking about, if even just the previous day the poster was stroking them off.

Same here. So what if you think he is a douche. The guy knows what he is talking about and is one of the best football players of all time. You want a nice guy then go find tebow.

Sapp also said he can't even watch the games. That's some real talk from a HOF DT.

He's not being a complete straight-shooter here. Fat Warren technically can't watch the games because all of his tv's were sold at the bankruptcy auction. Maybe Adidas should send him one?
